Tattoos aren’t just for bikers, sailors, or gang members anymore. I have tattooed a range of people from the freshly 18 year-old wallflower to an 87 year year-old grandmother and everything in-between. Body art is reaching the masses and no longer carries the stigma it used to. I am so honored that I get to take people’s ideas and turn them into custom artwork and bring it to life on the skin.
Unfortunately the tattoo industry has a long history of being associated with shady characters. I try everyday to disprove that every tattoo artist is an egotistical asshole or even worse a drug addict. I wont deny, I have worked with my fair share of other artists who embodied these characteristics. Its why I felt compelled to “Be the change I wish to see” and show my community that great artwork can come from a place that you feel at home and from a person you trust!
I have seen time and time again throughout my career, artists that simply do not listen to their clients ideas. They draw up what they want to tattoo, and you are left feeling like you have no choice but to go along with it. I strive to make my clients feel heard and I do my very best to bring THEIR VISION to life.
Lastly, I am a custom artist. This means the artwork you will receive from me will be one of a kind- no one else will be wearing your tattoo. I constantly see pinterest or google images regurgitated or even poorly copied tattoos walking around town. This saddens me. You are unique- and your tattoo should be too.
